Membership Questions

When is the RSVP Deadline?

———

For New York, please respond by February 26, 2026

For Seattle, please respond by June 10, 2026

Note, if you are someone who is “organizationally challenged,” you can always reach out after these deadlines and we will almost certainly be able to make it work. We want to see you!

Can I bring a date?

———

We are thrilled you found someone special and would be happy to have them attend. The more the merrier. Let’s party!

Can I bring my lovely offspring?

———

Yes! We support whatever works for the parents and would love to spend time with the next generation. Go kids! Yay!

What should I wear?

———

Wear something that will make you comfortable. As a reference, we intend to aim for “business casual.” Will is going to be wearing some sort of wool/linen pants and blazer with a collared shirt and no tie. Don’t wear white.

How do we get there/where do we park?

———

For New York, the event is in Fort Greene. Street parking is not likely to be easy. Subway or Uber will likely be the easiest. G Train is the closest (sad). The address is 162 Carlton Ave, Brooklyn, NY.

For Seattle, parking in the Amazon buildings around us is free in the evenings. “Day 1 Garage” is a good option, but there are several in the corporate-looking buildings in the vicinity. The address for the event is 2030 8th Ave, Seattle, WA.

What’s the schedule? When is the ceremony?

———

There is no ceremony. We will likely say some nice words to each other and the attendees around 8pm. Maybe we’ll have some speeches. Mostly it’s a time to come together, visit and reminisce about our glorious youth, and then go to bed at a reasonable hour.

We are coming from out of town. Where should we stay?

———

This one’s on you. Good luck!

New York and Seattle have many good hotels. Airbnb is also an option, but don’t forget to take out the trash before you leave.

We do recommend making a weekend out of the event, and selecting a location that works well for all the things you may want to do in that time.

What’s the food situation? Should I eat before I come?

———

There will be food. It will not be a sit-down/formal affair, but there will be plenty of food for you to plan on having dinner at the event.

Think something like “tapas” or, if you’re lucky, “chipotle.”

Let us know if you have dietary restrictions and we will make sure you have something that is good for you.
